The June 9 meeting for the TLT Group workshop on Second Life took place in Second Life using iVocalize to broadcast voice. We congregated at the Cybrary City auditorium (on Talis Cybrary City) and experimented with sitting down, chat, IM, shared some information about how to get around on Second Life, etc. See transcript of the chat session below. (There's a bit missing from the very beginning of the session - and some of the goodbys are missing at the end of the session.) The iVocalize aspect of the session was not saved. Some potential issues: Does anyone who was at the session mind having this posted? While it was clear that the earlier sessions on iVocalize would be posted, we did not make a disclaimer or ask everyone to agree to having the transcript of the chat session posted. There are gadgets in Second Life that allow the leader of the chat session to ask every participant to "touch" the gadget signifying agreement to be recorded.
